From 1 we stand at the Spire: residents and migrant communities on O’Connell Street, against eight years for people already living, working and building their lives here on the five-year pathway. Bring a sign, and bring whoever will come with you.
1pm · The SpireO’Connell Street, Dublin 1, where the 20 September march gathered. We stand there for half an hour to an hour. Stay on the footpath, and do what the Gardaí ask on the day.

Why
Five years was the deal.
The Bill would raise the residence requirement for Irish citizenship from five years to eight, and apply it to people already here and already counting. No rationale, research or evidence has been published for the eight. The whole case, with every source, is on the main page.
