Come out again.
Sunday 20 September. Meet at the Spire, 12.45.
We’re going out again on Sunday, and this time we arrive together. Gather at the Spire from 12.45. At 1 we walk down to Leinster House — twenty minutes, one crowd, straight through the middle of town. We’re at the gates by about 1.20 and we stay until 2. One hour of your afternoon. Bring whoever will come with you.
The route
Thursday
Back at the gates.
Thursday 24 September, Leinster House.
We stood at the gates on Kildare Street from 1, while the Seanad took up the citizenship rules inside. The same banner, new signs from parents and workers, and the same ask: do not change the rules midway for people already here.
Sunday
We came out again.
Sunday 20 September, the Spire to Leinster House.
We met at the Spire at 12.45 and walked at 1 — down O’Connell Street, over the bridge, past Trinity and up Kildare Street to the gates, where we held until 2. One banner, a lot of handmade signs, and the same ask: do not move the line behind us.
Wednesday
We came out.
Wednesday 16 September, Leinster House.
We live here, we work here and we pay tax here, and we stood at the gates of the Dáil on Kildare Street to ask the Government not to move the line behind us. Nurses, doctors, engineers, students, parents. Five was the deal.
